Are LED lights any good ?

My datamoons are heavy when in the case and I also find the case not that easy to carry as the handles are on the sides. But I have seen LED versions of them like the Showtec LED Datamoon, but would they be as good ? I'm thinking of changing to LED datamoons and LED dynamos. What do you think ?

I have 2 of the Chauvet Obsessions,worth a look,i have only used them the once so far with two 250w Dynamos although the venue was quite light they looked just as bright as the Dynamos :)

Good question - I'm eyeing up the Acme Cougar's at present. From what I've seen they trump the Chauvet obsessions on sharpness and brightness - but not price ;)

Don't look anywhere near as bright or sharp as my datamoons - even on the longlife setting.

The obsessions look good, watched the Mike from Phase1 video, and looks like it's sharper and has a faster response time than the datamoons. Might see if i can get enough for my datamoons for a pair. Not worried about the pack as have all he supplies in it.
