ADJ X Scan DMX help wanted

I am setting up scenes on my Stairville DMX controller and one of them involves an ADJ Starball DMX, two ADJ Sparkles (controlled by a DMX switch) and two ADJ X Scans which I want to very slowly scan in a random fashion. During the setup everything performs as it should but when I save the scene and replay it the X Scans go mental (apparently forgetting the ch8 slow command), all other lights are fine. :confused:

Anyone got an X Scan led that they can try to see if it's just me or a ADJ problem?

This may be of interest to any aspiring DMX-ers.

If your American DJ X Scan led was purchased in 2009 - 2010 there is a high probability that you will experience this problem. It's an internal chip programming error and the only way to sort it out is to replace the main control board. American DJ have known of the issue since 2009 but have stuck their heads in the sand hoping it would go away. I now have to contact ADJ UK and try to get replacement parts and my plans for using the X Scans at next Thursday's wedding have been scuppered (at least for the slow dances) :mad:
