Anyone played this yet? I went out with a local DJ yesterday (Saturday) and someone requested it, so we played it as the penultimate song and it actually went down quite well, though I didn't expect it to!

Personally I absolutely love it, what do you think?

It's 'alright' but not really disco environment stuff for me IMO.

How did you find watching another DJ? What did you like/dislike? If it's going to take this thread off topic, it might be worth starting a new thread with a mini review.

I know I'd learn a lot from it.

I wont start a new thread I'll apologise for going slightly off topic.

I loved it - I learnt a lot and the bloke was great, I'd never met him before but I approached him told him a little about myself and he invited me to come out with him on saturday.

It was a 50th Birthday bash at a pretty tidy venue. He picked me up in his van, dropped me home and tried paying me £50 at the end of the night! :eek: I respectfully declined and settled for a McDonalds meal :D

Seriously, if you ever get the chance (I know you have with the man himself :D) I'd go for it.

I was understandably nervous but he was a great guy, and we got on really well. Hopefully I'll be going out with him again.

EDIT: I agree about not being disco environment, it went down OK but it's certainly no Party Rock Anthem ;) I think it worked OK because majority of the guests were of the older generation.
