I am selling my RCF 905as 1000w RMS subwoofer, with a Hotcovers vinyl padded cover. I have only gigged with this around 15 times and it is in fantastic condition. It was purchased around 18 months ago, but I have been living in Canada for the past year and it has been in secure storage, so it has only really had 6 months of light use.

This is a truly professional subwoofer, made in Italy. RCF previously manufactured the drivers for Mackie Subwoofers, before Mackie began sourcing them from China. Paired with two active tops, this gives a thunderous tight bass - definitely not a one-note sub.
It originally cost £1150, plus £50 for the cover. I am looking for £800 and for this price I will deliver within the home counties. This is definitely one for someone who is serious about building a professional active PA system.
PM me with offers, or post on the thread with questions, for the benefit of others.
Thanks

I'd give you £700 transferred by BACS pretty much instantly?
I've got one in the pipeline for £800 (they have made me a counter offer) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310313494923#ht_6735wt_1139 but it's a 18 inch with 4 inch coil.
Let me know what you think.

Hi Charlie, for £775 we would have a deal. Unfortunately I couldn't go any lower than that. An ebay search for this sub would show you that it isn't sold anywhere for less than £1050 without a cover and believe me when I say it's like new. Between an 18" and 15" sub, I would personally go with a 15", as 18"s tend to have a flabbier sound, especially in less than acoustically ideal environments. I'm sure that many on this forum would agree with me.
I see you're based in Nottingham. If we could find a halfway point to meet that would be good.
I'll also include two long proel XLR Cables worth £20, for connecting this sub to actives.
Let me know

I'm still sat here dribbling... I demo'd the 702 and 705's when I bought my 422's.
If I had the money in the bank...

I'm not really fused about the case. Would you be prepared to sell that sepertly? Darren has a fetish for collecting cases and flight cases?

Why wouldnt you want to protect it Charlie? and I think most would "pay him instantly via BACS" for £700? If I was selling, I'd tell you where to stick it. Cheeky bugger.
BTW these are worth at least £800 of anyones money.

I do like a case, yep.
Not sure about fetish though...I buy them to keep my gear protected and in pristine condition as anyone who has ever bought anything from me will tell you. ;)

Thanks Ecstatic, yep Charlie if I could give you one piece of advice, it would be to buy cases for all your equipment. It really is a false economy, as you really do make the money back if you eventually sell your equipment and it keeps your rig looking immaculate. I made the mistake when I started and the beaten and battered speakers I had a couple of years down the line was the result.
But anyway, yes, this is not a chat forum. Any interest, maybe PM me... :)
