Evening folks.

I have noticed on my Behringer VMX1000USB that on cross-fading I can still hear the faded out channel whilst the faded in channel is operative. It seems to be more prominent on one channel than it is on the other and is more noticeable through headphones, though is noticeable through the speakers at lower volumes.

Any ideas what the problem/solution could be?

cheers
Steve

Its nomally a build up of dirt inside the Crossfader, whip it out and give it a clean, there are quite a few handy videos on this,it is unlikely a new fader will be required:)

Hi

Whip it out and give it a clean and make sure all contacts are clean and dust free !!

Also get hold of some 'Servisol Super 10' spray, and use that to clean and free up the cross-fader a little.

All else fails, try and get a new cross-fader in.

Thank you

Glenn

Thanks for the replies chaps.

I am a little surprised though if it's a cleaning issue as the mixer is not very old. It's kept in a flight case and generally away from a dusty environment. I wonder if it's actually faulty?

Anyway I will give your suggestion a whiz and see how it goes. cheers
