Denon HD2500 and Traktor 2

Hi All,

I've purchased a new playout laptop and decided to upgrade to Traktor 2.

I cant for the life of me get my Denon HD2500 to control it. I have installed the Asio Drivers which recognises the HD2500 is connected to the Laptop. However, it doesnt show "connected" within Traktor (audio routing etc)

Vista Home Premium
2.8GHz
4GB ram

Am I missing something? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Do you have the HD2500 set to midi?

Oh yes - I have been using the HD-2500 to control Traktor Pro without issues on another playout. So I have previous knowledge of setting up midi etc.

Another question, can I have both Traktor 2 and Traktor Pro on the same Laptop (running them seperately) as I plan to upgrade to a Kontrol S4.

If I could use Traktor Pro to get me throught this weekend I'll do that.

Frustrating isnt the word.

*Update*

It was just me being impatient.

I think you need to let the drivers install FULLY (which takes a little time) before assuming that you are going mad.

I have both versions of the software on my new laptop - Running fine.
