Long day

Yesterdays wedding was 1½ hours drive away, we left home at 14:30, reached the venue (absolutely stunning 12 century monastry) at 16:00 and set up. It was my first time using DMX for my lights and the up-lighting, and first time for my new rig so I gave myself plenty of time (I will post some pics and video later). Did background music through dinner (in France each course is about an hour apart and people are encouraged to dance in between courses!) I was booked from 20:00 to 02:00 with an hourly overtime option, which meant that we finally turned the music off at 04:30, and by the time we packed up, drove home and unpacked it was 07:30 :daft:

So that's 17hrs for a gig, anyone beat that?
