Actually sold to me as a 500mw but knew the price was too cheap but guessed it would be around 300mw and it is! Laserworld cs 500g but underpowered.

I'm a big fan of lasers and this looks immense!

I am NOT a fan, however of the ever increasing venues that don't allow smoke or haze which is an absolute necessity to get the best from them :( ;)

:agree: I use my starcluster mainly as a room filler as 95% of places don't allow fog. I think it has to do with the flipping smoking ban, the venues have had to upgrade the detectors to make sure people don't have a crafty cig. :Censored:

I'm lucky I think as there are few venues who ban smoke machines where I'm booked but where I see detectors I don't mention I have a hazer I just go real easy on the smoke and have had no probs (yet!). By the way, when that strobe is going in the centre of my new booth it really does look fantastic with the lasers but I couldn't photograph it. A complete change of atmosphere from the scanning lights and uplit frontage which get switched off. Proper old school rave look!

Trouble is that it's not as bright as a single green because each colour is added together to make up the 500mw figure so each diode is actually much less powerful. That's why I went for green to get the brightness.
