I often don't carry my mobile when I'm working in certain circumstances ( they don't respond well to being encased in concrete, for instance. :D )

I regularly answer the missed calls on my way home, on the handsfree. So I'm tired, grubby, hungry and thirsty, and wanting to get home for a cool drink, a shower and my tea. ( Dinner, if you're South of Watford ) I dial the mobile number of my missed call before I set off, and what do I get?

A prospective customer?
An MDD member?
A local DJ offering me work?

Sadly, none of the above. :( Since we're having reception problems, I pull into a handy layby, and stop. To receive the full benefit of some git guaranteeing to get me on the first page of every search engine for discos in a hundred mile radius. And he's so good that most folk only pay for a month every now and then, cos he gets them more work than they can cope with. And for less than £150 per month!

Needless to say, I was late for my tea, and declined to invest in this venture. Did I make an error? Should I have signed up with him, and got all this extra work? :D :D

I get a call like this once every other week on average. Not on mobile but home phone. I usually let them go on a while about what they can offer before I tell them that Norwich Disco or Norfolk disco usually finds me very close to top of google first page so I am happy. And no I do not wish to advertise with them in any way. Meanwhile I have been busy doing something on the internet, maybe on this site or???

I had the same call off a man today, he offered top of Google to me, for a month, £130. I turned him down, but i give it to him, he was just as polite after i turned him down as when he was trying to sell it to me (unlike other phone sellers who turn rude if you say no).

I used to get these, but after 5 years I'm now top of the results anyway ! I used to ask how they found my site ? Google was the reply :Censored:

I don't get these calls, but I was duped into a "deal" a couple of years back by a company called Lavora Marketing.

DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE.

you are better off spending your money with one of the experts within this forum... :D

Kevin? From Manchester? I'll give him his due, he was polite and reasonable.

Whaaat? Blimey, if we'd both signed up, no :Censored: else would have got a disco in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, we'd have had it stitched up. ;)
