Not sure if this q has been asked before as I have looked but can't find what I'm after.
Basically I’m looking for a goalpost stand which will hold 5 lights (approx 50kg) I have looked at the Giraffe and Prolight 4ft models – are these any good even though they are fairly inexpensive?

However, the crux of the question is – is there a stand out there that will do the above, but also has shelves that I can put non-flightcased items on? I think Ultimax do one but not in the goalpost style. Ultimately, I will have my cd player and mixer flightcased, but what do I put all my cd’s and accessories on? I can’t believe there are not more models out there that you can actually put things on that aren’t in a box! Seems like madness to me..

Any advice appreciated as ever :)

They do indeed, it's my local store :) Though none of them unfortunately fit the bill. Thanks anyway though.

Ultimax do stands as described and you can then buy shelves that fix with velcro to the cross pieces.

Mine came with 2 anyway, as I did buy the winch version.

Have a look here http://www.ultimate1.co.uk/Ultimax%20retail%20Price%20List.htm and you'll see how customisable the stands are and how many add ons there are too.
