Thought I would post this today to let you know that I am taking a break from mobile discos after doing them for over 15 years or so. I had cut back for the last couple of years on the bookings due to the arrival of our beautiful first daughter last November and basically me losing "a bit of the buzz" from doing discos week in week out. I think it is long overdue that I take a break but hope to be back sometime in the future as I refuse to quit something completely that I have put so much energy into over the years.

The final nail in the coffin was when the timing belt went on my van a few months ago which makes things quite difficult but luckily I had not taking many bookings on and was intending to take a break. I can still do the odd local disco with the help of a couple of journeys in my parents very small car but if I did want to take any bookings further afield it would mean upping my prices and hiring a van. I will decide on this if the situation arises but in the meantime I am looking forward to a quieter Christmas season and my own wedding next year and will see where I go after that.

I want to thank everyone on the forum for all the help that you have giving me and still want to remain a member on here as I'm not going for good like a say. This forum has hvlped me out so much in the past with help on technical issues to just giving me the confidence to go to do a disco when my confidence was at a low.
