I think people are getting confused as to the purpose of the 'Wanted' section.

It is the sister forum to the 'For Sale' section. - ie: "I want one. Do you have a used one I can buy from you?" rather than "Can anyone google this for me to see where i can buy one because I can't be bothered?" :p

I was looking for one a few months ago and with the new price it was hardly worth looking for second hand, although only 2 people actually had one for sale.

The wanted ads section is for 'wanted' ads only. Any 'For Sale' topics posted in this section will be deleted without notification.


Surley, if a member has come across something that is far cheaper than the norm, whether it is owned by them or found on the web, then any input or advice and links should be considered - otherwise please update the forum thread with such info.

As a co-owner of the site, I ought to know what the forums are meant for.

I mention it because almost all recent wanted threads have gone the way of "I've googled it for you", and the response is that you disagree with what I say is the purpose of the wanted section.

Can't you see why that might make me laugh?

Anyway, the object of my initial post was to try and prevent this thread being derailed, but it appears it's had the opposite effect, so........

i'm inclined too agree with chris on this one,at the price not really worth trying to find one second hand.......hence my link.

but the one i linked to is being sold by one of the forum retailers who has it in stock.

maybe im just tight, but if i can pick up a used one for £50 i'll be happy with that.

I know there available for £100 but £50 in my pocket and someone getting rid of something they dont use is a good thing in my mind.

If someone has one, let me know, if not i'll buy a new one :)
