View Full Version : Flame Off - Thank You & Good Night...

As I approach the end of this year, many life changing decisions have been made in the 12 months since my wife's passing.
The primary one is to sell up and move on from Cambridge - after 25 years there is now nothing left to keep me here.
More On Topic - I will also be folding the Firedance Roadshow at the end of 2011 as a secondary business. Most of my work is now alternative / rock club gigs and as such are mainly walk-in, so giving up the part of the business where you carry thousands of £s / lbs of gear into an empty room, turn it into a night club, DJ 8 hours then carry it all out again is not a tough choice!
I may of course resume, but am planning at least 12 months off; I am keeping enough gear to do the occasional gig but will not be accepting any new bookings from the current time.
I'll still be around though, but thanks and all best wishes to...
... all of you for being such a wonderful crowd, but most of all to the Bride & Groom - Mr & Mrs Corabar!
Don't Stop Believing... :Rock on:

Thank you so much for that...
...and may I be the first to say that we wish you all the best, Malcolm - and don't be a stranger: make sure you stay in touch.
Where are you moving to?

All the best with whichever way your life takes you. All I will say is, it's remarkably easy to fall right back into mobile work, without really trying.
Good luck mate.

Currently I'm looking at just outside Peterborough... so I'll be in to see ya a bit more often if it pans out! I'm doing the numbers on it this week and getting it all rolling next week, I hope!
'S a new start in a new place - but I grew up around that area so it's not a major upheaval.
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and best wishes! :D
