We currently appear in our business to be suffering from a temporary condition known as time wasteritis.

Since the main Summer season is over and Xmas is on the horizon the last few weeks seem to have consisted of enquiries for charities with no money, private events on small budgets, no definite dates, enquiiries a year ahead and very last minute enquiries---all of which only want a couple of hours so it wont cost much.---will it;)

Strange times--I suppose the recession is affecting things quite a bit--
but I cant remember so many low grade enquiries phoning or emailing regularly.

Are we alone in this trend?

Im not sure why so many people would think this is a good time to run Charity events involving the difficult sale of tickets.

Ah well--Xmas is coming---unless it gets cancelled:D :D :D :D :D :D

Deffinately happening here too. My kids parties have dropped by 75% this year and I cannot see them increasing again until there is more money around. 90% of enquiries just want to know 'How much?' and don't seem to care what the disco will be like.
I have even offered for a 21st the disco in the top video on my site for 5 hpours at £280 but the reply was 'I have been quoted £200 for a disco so I will probably take that one'.
Good luck to them is all I say as it leaves the date for someone else.

If you want to see what I offered check out my video page on www.abracadabradisco.co.uk Chedburgh Village Hall video.
