No.
I joined up via an invite a while back. Haven't been back since. The whole social networking thing doesn't appeal to me.

To be fair, without exploring the merits of certain features, Facebook has social networking covered really ?

You would think, and Facebook is certainly the Daddy of them all (at the moment). But since Google+ launched (to invites in the last 3 months) Facebook have changed their privacy policy and settings, photo tagging, introduced "Smart Lists" and recently announced a partnership with Twitter, all reactions to what Google Plus has introduced.
I read a good quote somewhere...can't remember where...."the best thing Google Plus has done is improve Facebook".
On the plus side, they are only 3 months old and in constant development. They listen to what their users want and make changes fast.
Yes, it's more "geeky" than Facebook - I've heard it being called "the Facebook your mum's not on", although that'll surely change if it gets popular. I'm on it but I was never on Facebook or Twitter :D The worst thing about it (imho) is the sheer number of Google employees all saying how "awesome" and "cool" everything is, but then that's because I was on it fairly early and have them in my circles so they tend to clutter my stream now. Time for a clearout I think :)

Depends if your talking about personal or business use? If the latter than twitter knocks the socks off facebook for me.

Had a nosey yesterday but not got much I'll use. I hate the Facebook changes, the circles or whatever they call them are confusing.

Twitter is good at getting a message 'out there', but either way people have to be bothered to look at their Twitter or Facebook.
For the more personal and interactive media side of things, such as galleries and video, Facebook is better IMO.

I noticed this yesterday when I logged on and the entire look of facebook has changed but not for the better IMO. I get used to one feature then the next week it has moved to another place on the screen

Perhaps, but I know you're 36 and your birthday is 17th Feb through nothing more than 1 search on this forum so it's probably no worse than submitting your birthday to MDD.

Indeed. It highlighted my status as being something that it thought I ought to read. Surely I would know what was in it having written it but a few seconds earlier. Im not that senile yet !!!

I wish I was a rich dear boy :( Still have to pay off my credit cards ;)
I get your point and I expected that response. But
All my videos are connected to business as I am the product - so to speak.
The iron maiden thing and all other videos are music related too. Just shows I am humand and actively involved in going to gigs and stuff.
i have not got any link to me on any of my other businesses. Not one photo or video of me on bogfrog :p
I do not post pointless crap that no one cares about either in an attempt to get attention :D
(well i may do on here from time to time but its social networking I am on about).
My videos are slightly more involving than someone trying to get attention by telling the whole world that they
do not like cornflakes or they just fell over, or the tax is due on the car. I do not understand it?
