Oh its like christmas all over again :D...

Indeed I am a ary happy chappie, as I received my new Deck Stand Booth V2 today from James H / Advanced Event Designs, and during lunch excitedly unpacked my new toy!

(Apolagies for the terrible photos - my iphone has seen much better days!)

Firstly for those of you who have not ventured in to the world of DJ Booths, I can only say save your money and get one! Ok so they are not cheap, but I am very happy with mine and think its looks and feels fantastic! James was also really helpful and got it to me well before he promised - also found James much more helpful and friendly than the S&H guys.

Took out the boxes, and found the booth very easy to put up and put together. The starcloth needs a bit of loosening up but attaches easily to the frame by means of heavy suty velcro. Not sure what all the other bits of velcro is for, but I plan to ask at BPM. Packing up was even easier, and a colleague even commented how quick it was to dismantle and put away!

All in all very happy - now saving for the overhead lighting bar and bracket :) :) :)

I like it. I'm still not convinced about star cloths though.

I wonder if there is option to do more with the black cloth such as some stiching to highlight the shape of the booth?

I need to see on in person really. Is there going to be one at BPM?

The velcro around the top of the star cloth is for attaching a white cloth over the black one should you need to do so.

It does buddy - one shelf which I had taken off before taking the pics :)

(you can see it just off shot to the left on the floor on the first pic)

Now tell me can you pack these things up with the starcloth attached - basically as one unit?
That would be handy.

I do think star cloths will be as outdated as light screens before too long however as everyone is using them.
It seems an industry standard to have one of these a couple of wizards and a set of RCF.
Nothing wrong with that but I would hate to go with the trend.

Having said that the mirror ball has never gone out of fashion?

That looks like a fantastic garage - my bio desiel processing plant would fit in well. My garden is too small.

I would rather have my S&H booth covering everything up, than a pile of equipment with Mac book on show and a black cloth thrown over it....:boxer2:

Glad it arrived and you like it :) Thought it would be easier getting it delivered for you - save worrying about it over the weekend.

Also don't worry the starcloth will stretch - it's just because it's brand new

ha ha - not quite... We did all the releasing of new booth products at the start of the year instead of leaving it till BPM this year... :D always developing bits with accessories though :zip::zip: :zip: not to mention other cloths... (possibly of the twinkling variety but in bigger sizes)... :zip: :zip: :zip:

ohhhh the deckstand booth inflatable... I like it...

We are able to make custom cloths to order as well - both with just stitching design and with LED's... We have been commissioned to do a few custom "named" LED cloths over the past couple of years for the booths.

But yes we are at BPM... We are displaying the DSB V2 and the Micro DSB as well as some of the accessories available and Venue Magic Show control...

See us on Stand C53 down by the toilets and restaurant area.

As has been pointed out the extra velcro is for additional items such as the Voile Cover we do to turn the black led into a while led cloth... It also means that over time as t he fabric loosens or if you've packed it away in a rush and it's creased you have extra velcro to be able to stretch it tighter.
