IIRC Toby weren't you on here a little while ago extolling the virtues of your 20 minute setup?

Forgive me if I'm mistaken...

But not even Toby could setup in 15 minutes!

If I was unloaded outside it would be possible to get sound in 15 minutes.

I could set up in 15 mins without uplighting but i would not want to.
I did it just that the other day when I broke down and only had 15 mins left!!

The venue could not believe it. I was sweating and stressed but it went ahead as planned. :)

I would rather do it in an hour and take my time however.
That way I am more relaxed at first dance.

This post is a bit irrelevant as i can get in the room at any time as it separate to the main hall. Just thought that this was quite amusing.

The end of a 24 hour day :)

No such thing as 24:00 - it should be 00:00 and actually being really pedantic 00:00 doesn't exist - it should read 23:59 or 00:01

I quote -

"24:00 and 00:00 should be the same. Both are logical.

24:00:00/00:00:00 is the hour when the Earth ends its rotation in its axis and the next rotation starts at 00:00:01."

Eh? Surely if 0900 exists then 0000 will too?

If your setting up in a different room, maybe you've got 15 mins to come through and tell the guests the disco is nearly ready????

15 mins is possible with a well trained roadie and easy access i guess. My amp rack is pre wired, speakers stack straight up. The only awkward bit is the gaffa taping (the noisy bit) is always right at the end when people are coming in

Yes but there is nothing worse than starting unprepared and 15 mins is not enough time to set up and prepare for everything and then relax and plan etc. :) I like a good half hour of nothing to assess the crowd and have a chat with key members of the wedding and staff.

So on the basis of that - 45 mins with uplighting to set up if not an hour and
an additional half hour before any guests arrive in an ideal situation.
