has anybody heard these active subs. 600watt rms. im thinking of getting one soon and wanted to know if anybody on here has heard them.

For the money they look dammed good I think it would depend on the brand and quality of the driver if they're worth buying.

I got one yesterday and i pleasantly surprised. The bass is nice and punchy, the weight is ideal if your on your own like me and the price is great.

First time using it last night at an 18th and it was just what i needed to get that extra low end

It depends on the long term reliability of the product.

I was chatting to an ex member of the forum ( as you do) about a sub and tops combination made in Holland ( name escapes me for the moment) and he was speaking in favourable terms about a set up he had bought.

Next conversation it appears the set up blew up on a gig --totally.

I have this and its brilliant as it lso has sat outs that power my passive RCF's.
You will need high SPL tops though.

The BOX = 40 Kg :daft: only 220 watts RMS

Alto TS Sub 15 = 600 watts RMS and only 27.04 kg

No competition in my book, as much as I like Thomann stuff !

I have listened to the Alto TS sub 15 and although it is very compact and affordable I thought it lacked punch and depth of bass.

However, if you have suitable transport, consider the TS 18 sub. I thought this sounded very good and although it is quite big, its very well balanced and a one man lift. Still good value at £399 per bin too.
