As the title suggests which song or group of songs do you use to finish the evening?
I have to say that the one that gets requested time and time again is New York, New York by Frank Sinatra but would be nice to discover alternatives.

Runrig..... Loch Lomond
Excellent for Scottish Weddings but normally frowned upon south of the border - I love Scottish weddings as this song is just perfect for finishing the night.
I always ask the B&G but normally at the moment it is Take That - Never Forget.

I still ask people if they want the national anthem, at GAA clubs or the older generation they like it. The staff like it too as people know it's the end of the night ! But most of the time I use Journey/Sweet caroline/New York new york, depending on age group.

Queen - Don't Stop Me Now to end. Usually before this we have a set of summer of 69, livin on a prayer, sex on fire, brightside
Then some party tracks like grease megamix and fun stuff to sing along with, depending on the audience.
But Queen or Frank to end.

Depends on the type of function it is to be honest.
If it's a wedding, I generally ask the Bride & Groom in advance if there is a song that they would like to finish the night.
I like to finish on a high tempo track if I can and so something like One Step Beyond by Madness works for me but as I said, it depends on the function and if something had been requested.

I was going to say that. i generally never plan an end as you never can unless the bride and groom have planned to leave or something.
I usually ask them what they want. Sometimes they just want to chill sometimes its full of energy.
I usually always finish 10 mins before the end and then play a couple after.
