Why was everyone screaming about him being at BPM?????.

The Guy that was there was about 25 george is 50, The guy at BPM was like 5ft 4inches, George is 6ft +, George has wrinkles and the guy at bpm was as smooth as a babies Bum

I found out after BPM that it actually was Boy George...he must be shrinking in his old age lol.

I found out after BPM that it actually was Boy George.
He may well have been, but the shortarse prancing around on Sunday & having photos taken with everyone was not him

I spoke to a friend who works for the company that provides all the sound and lighting in the main arena bit for BPM.

There's also pictures and articles on the net if you tap it in to Google.

That was certainly not Boy George at BPM. He was due to appear but couldn't make it so a look a like was brought in.

On that second photo of him in the skull and crossbones hat. He looks more like Marc Almond:D :D :D

I must admit that I thought it was him and I've met him before when he DJ'd one of the superclubs in Ibiza in 1999.

Mind you, I didn't really get up close to the guy at BPM and my eyes are not what they used to be!! :o

My mate has a photo with him, and there was a post somewhere else with someone saying they were having a cathc up with George O'Dowd.

we went up to him to say hello but if it wasn't for my mum spotting him we would of not met him, GREAT PERSON!

You've read this thread? Most of the posts in this thread are talking about how it WASN'T Boy George, and there was actually a post with a link to the bloke who works as the look-a-like who had the gig:-

I have met Boy George on several occasions (albeit many years ago) and he is a big bloke (tall). This bloke wasn't anywhere near tall enough, and, actually, I don't think he even looked much like him. (An awful lot of people could look as much like Boy George if they wore the clothes and make up.) Have a look at the photo that was posted on this thread, and try and get past the hat and make up... not the same features as Boy George at all.

You could not miss him.

I only spent max 15 mins walking around the show and whilst fiddling with
a controller looked up next to me and there he was playing on the consol next to me.

I must say I thought it was him but did not really pay allot of attention.

It's not Boy George it is Bye George from Kent a.k.a. Matt Endersby (a friend of my partners) but he does pull it off though, but did you notic at BPM !! he did not speak ;)

Those of you that thought it was the real Boy Gorge need glasses , you can tell it's not him.
Not only the hat , but the jacket are El' Cheapo items....

Having seen those photos now, Boy George in 1999 in Ibiza looked older than this guy at BPM!!! :eek:

Clear as day, now!!
