I think designs are a very personal thing and it doesn't matter what other people think.
It's what YOU think that matters.

Looks okay to me Hammy, but what's that big white blank bit in the centre for? A B&G photo or something?

In that case then, I like it :D
Only thing I would say is I'd try to avoid the "Y" and the "W" overlap if you get my drift?

Whilst I have no issues with the designs, I'm not entirely sure "Hammys Weddings" conveys the desired image I'm afraid.
Maybe it's just me or my age but to me "Hammy" means 'Amateur' (as in Ham Radio) or "OTT" as in 'Ham acting' :o
I've asked a couple of trusted ladies who are usually spot on at advising me when designing stuff targeted at brides, and they agree.
Sorry :sofa:

No worries Martin but it conveys my disco name, Any suggestions on what to change it to but still carry the name ???

Where does 'Hammy' come from? Is it just a nickname or is it a :Censored::Censored::Censored::Censored::Censored: :Censored::Censored:isation of a surname etc.?

That was exactly my first thought, very sorry but the name just doesn't convey what you are wanting it to :)

Looks good to me. Nice work. :)
I was thinking that. Its actually quite nice and different :)
Not sure what crazy k is on about but I could not have done much better.
You could do with a drop shadow on the pics and rings to add a bit of depth however.
If you do not know how to do that then just send it to me and I will finish it :D

Change it to Granny's Entertainment - you will get loads of trade in Eastbourne ;)
Although my home town Bexhill would be a better bet.
Hang on the fonts are identical too mine. Great minds think alike ;)
Or you ripped it off :D

Grannies Weddings was my first thought but then guessed they were already married, never actually seen your flyer Toby so I guess great minds an all that, drop shadow seems good

As yet its still undecided, What worries me is why you would check the domain name though Steve ???

I like it ...
but I'd try it without the corner scrolls, and I'd have the website address the same size as the email and phone numbers or bigger if you are going to leave it at the bottom - I'd try it up with the email and phone no.
I'd also expand on "Professional Wedding DJ" section - add something to make it two lines and reduce the font size.
I also like your hammy's entertainment logo (as seen in your signature above) I'd try that at the bottom.
Of course, that would all probably ruin it - but that's why I said "try". Good luck!

What worries me is that you would post a mock up of a flyer showing a domain name that you may want to use when not only do you not yet own that domain but that the domain in question is available for anyone to register.
I used to work for BT at their Martlesham Heath research park which they rebranded several years ago to "Adastral Park"
On the day they announced the new name for the site, a contractor working there registered the domain name and put a dating site on it.
From wikipedia "When the name change to Adastral Park first came in, there was a little controversy. A BT contractor, Richard Hayman made a grab for the adastralpark domain name, and tried to sell it to BT at an inflated price. BT refused to yield and dismissed the contractor. In return, the contractor set up a low-brow dating site using the domain."
I still cant believe that senior management or the rebranding consultants ( I assume there were some) didnt have the foresight to register the name first, especially given how important a web presence is these days.
Surely less than a tenner to secure a .co.uk domain name for two years has to be worthwhile even if you end up not using it !!!!
You can point it at your existing website in the interim

Or maybe if you put some thought into it I wouldnt have put up a name that I wanted to use.
Original post asked about the flyer not domain names so

Been mulling it over and the best I can come up with is a massive letter H - 'H Weddings', 'Weddings by H', 'H Wedding Entertainment' and so on and then slip the existing "Hammy's Entertainment" logo on there, small, at the bottom, with 'Presented by...' or 'Brought to you by...' type of thing?
The 'H' could then become a prominent feature of the design - especially if you use an upright serif font - perhaps even full size on the page but at 70/80% opaque acting as a backdrop with the other stuff (text, rings, images etc.) overlaid.
Simple. Memorable. Unique.

What's wrong in using your own real name for the wedding side of things ? it's a good name.
I feel and you can keep the Hammy brand for party discos etc and easily explain if people ask why you have two brand names :)

I'm not in the business of going out and buying up domain names if they are not available, but as this site is high on google rankings it wouldn't take long for someone to trawl web forums buying up names that haven't been registered yet.
Back on topic, number 2 design.
