yep tried most places - seems theres a single delivery coming - I find this with most lights - one giant shipment and everyone out of stock.

I'm now considering the Chauvet Colostrip Mini - similar and available.

if you can get them stick to the mega bars i have 12 which i use for up lighting and colour wash they are great lights, i would say just be careful when i ordered my last lot only half had the r/c not that i can use more than one at a time .

think I've finally found one after more promises, delays and cancellation - but based on my experience with half my suppliers...I'm not getting too excited.

Try DJKit, They claim to have secured all the UK stock at the moment (according to their Facebook page)

ah - DJKit couldn't supply it in time (cancelled order) - still awaiting stock - DJsuperstore said last month they had most of UK stock too but due in November - but Phaseone have told me it will be here tomorrow ! Happy days!

I dont know if its the same for the 50's as it is for the full length megabars (which I use) but...

Theres a new version of the firmware now shipping on the full length megabar RCs. (theres a little silver sticker on the side of the newer bars). Can I upload a picture?

On the newer firmware you can switch off the infra-red remote control sensor. This feature cured a number of issues for me.

1) I have various remote controls (projector, flat screen TV etc) - The megabars pick up the pulsing signal of the other remote controls and flicker in-time with the pulses (if you haven't seen an infrared remote control pulsing - its because the human eye cant... but your mobile phone camera will...ooh looky...)

2) If I have 1 megabar as Master, and all the other megabars as Slaves (Angela, I'm getting those cold shower thoughts again), sometimes the Slave bars pick up the signal from the ADJ remote control too, and jump out of slave mode - next time you fire the remote control, you might not be so lucky - meaning some of your bars are on the new program you chose, whilst some are still doing the last program Grrr.

It may be that ADJ wanted to run all stocks of the old firmware down first, before shipping the new - or it could simply be that the megabars are very very popular, which I can understand too. I mean...what else are toddlers supposed to tight-rope walk along when they're bored with playing "chase the gobo" (into the wedding cake stand...:p )
