Anyone got it--what does it cost --does it include continued journey cover i.e. tow you to the gig?

Thanks in advance, my son has been "sold" RAC Breakdown cover by the Bank but I have suspicions it doesnt cover a Ford Transit Van--or being towed to chosen destination. i.e the gig

Ive got mine direct with RAC covers any vechile im on fro £120.00 a year and yes covers my van. the one time i used it with me transit - Towed me to my destination.

but as its from a bank I would check the small print very carefully - hopefully you saw watchdog last night all about these packages banks are selling.

From my Dads own experience the Bank Of Scotland one does what they say. :) They couldn't be anymore helpful to him.

Thanks Steve, the cover quoted with the Bank is RAC--im just going to read the Policy three times with a magnifying glass:daft:

Interesting you managed to get a tow--were you on your way to a gig?

yes - downpipe split apart about 4" from the header ( whilst on way to gig phoned friends who lived around there and managed to get it welded up - it was done by teh time i finished the gig :)

Received the breakdown Policy part of the financial package which is as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

Made an official misseling complaint and my son is expecting compensation.

Hey ho---lets do the job properly now and insure DIRECTLY with the RAC.
