fun disco lighting to take a way with me ?

Hi there is 10 of us going to stay in a villa for 2 weeks in a few days time and we are right out in the sticks so got to make use of entertainment in the villa for most nights. We have a small karaoke machine to take with us, but I was all so thinking of taking some kind of disco spin round light for a bit of extra fun.

Now I really havent got a clue on what I would need to buy so was hopeing some one could help me out. Just want somethen that will not have to be attached to the ceiling and can just plug it in and bobs ya uncle.

Looking for the disco effect !. any ideas ?

There actually quite good i read somewhere, don't have any experience with them personally. I'd imagine there more of an 'extra' though.

I use something similar but with '3' for smaller parties and there fab!. Give out plently of light and do a very good job of setting a party atmosphere.

We've not used the junior acme wildtech range, but we've got some of their big brothers, and they are excellent value and good coverage. Another member on here saw the junior ones that you are looking at in action the other week and reported that he was impressed by the amount of coverage and how bright they were for their size. I think they may be just what you are looking for, especially since they are designed so that you can just sit them on something rather than hanging them (ie they have a built in stand).

Firstly, after your two week stay in the Villa, will you be selling on the lighting products that you decide to buy? Also, are you looking into buying one unit or more?

The reason that i say that is because the more you spend, the more you will be able to recoup back. Im not saying go out and spend a huge amount, but maybe spend a little over the £100, and go for something like a pair of the Wildtech Juniors.

If you were likely to just go for the one unit, then an NJD Datamoon would be ideal, and at only £109, that is just over your budget and is a brilliant effect, which i would have no hesitation in saying that you will recoup at least 3/4 of your money back!

You could always look at some of the clearance/B-Stock lines on some of the DJ websites, have a look on eBay or go down your local cash converters :)

You may also want to take a few spare bulbs over incase of blown/damaged ones caused in transportation!

I've seen these working and although they may look a bit plasticy, they are brilliant. Considering they are only 100W, they are very bright and very good value.

I did consider some, but I don't think they go with my heads. :omg:
