This was a mega playlist gig, all I had to do was decide what went well with what.

I have to say it was a fantastic night & the B&G certainly knew their friends & family's musical tastes (good dancefloor ratio all night)

All in all I found this gig a breath of fresh air :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

excellent music choice btw...

the KJ/DJ at the party i attended had a play list like....

Katrina & The waves.......Walking on sunshine (45 secs)
Dead air (15 secs whilst he changed disc - yup 1 player)
Girls aloud....Jump (5 secs)
Microphone work "sorry folks wrong song"
Spice girls ....wannabe
Microphone work "ok lets get bob up and see if he can sing"
Bob gets up and sings rolling stones "Satisfaction" - deafen's everybody, lots of echo
Microphone work "you sounded just like elvis...."??????????
Dead air - no one laughed
Cascada - Everytime we touch...

etc etc etc

The musical quality seems very high for a disco too :thumbs_up

I know many a DJ like that around my parts, it is just wrong :(

Looks cool.. i had a very rock based night last night.. it was a 21st and he'd given me a list of around 400 tracks to play! 180 of which were fairly specialist heavy stuff..


Cameo - Word up

One of the tracks on the list was the Korn cover of this, which i got from Napster.. and its actually pretty good!
