Looking at some LED lights - cheapest I have found are from Thomann.
Recently discovered the site. I guess they are based abroad. Looking at the photos of products they seem to have 'foreign' 2 pin plugs to!!
Has anyone purchased from there - do the products have 2 pin plugs?
Is there anything that can be done so they can be used here in the UK, apart from using a travel adaptor?
This the sort of thing I'm looking at http://www.thomann.de/gb/led_light_led_par_56_black.htm.
Help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

i know lots of people that have bought from them.... I know they are also opening a UK warehouse if they havent already so i would have thought that they would come with a UK plug - although not 100% on that.... Plan on ordering a load of Led pars from them myself before xmas.

Mine came with the german plug... although i bought the Showtec ones and not the cheaper Stairville ones that you've linked to. I think the only difference is the showtecs are more controllable with more DMX channels.
Its easy to change the plug though.. just pop into maplin and by UK ones at 1.50 a peice... or get them from CPC for 20-30p each if you have time to wait for delivery.

So you can just change the 2 pin plug to a 3 pin plug? Is that OK - are they the same voltage & stuff (not too hot on the techincal stuff :teeth: )?
Danno - was it easy to do? So is their 3 wires or 2 & how do you know which wire goes to which pin?
THANKS!!!!

Yes, just swap them to a standard 13a or 16a plug, whichever you use.
Wires should be brown, blue, yellow / green as standard.
