Hi guys
Possibly a daft question!

I am going to be using my K12s with a bass bin.

The LF switch on the back, which I have set at Deep when just using the tops, I take it when using a Bass bin, should be set to ext sub?

yes you are correct when using your sub connect to ext sub, unless you want to run the tops full range with the sub.

I will be using a Mackie 1501. I will be hiring it in. I have used it before, but last time with my Mackie 450s. I will very soon be purchasing a Sub, possibly a K Sub.

If you go from the bass bin to the tops and use the high pass filter, it doesn't matter what the switch is set to as the bin's cross over is filtering the frequencies anyway.

It's only if you go from the tops to the bin that you need to set the switch.

I have one of these for sale inc cover.

Also when using a Ksub you go in through the tops first then down to the bin,

Paul
