ive got one of these tv brackets

http://www.djsupplies.co.uk/ekmps/shops/djsupplies/images/lcdbracket[ekm]318x300[ekm].jpg

it attatchs to round poles, ie speaker/light stands

im after one that can fit onto the square metal of my goal post lighting stand, preferably one that bolts on like the lights do.

ive had a hunt on google but cant find much. Anyone got anything like this or can point me in the right direction?

I bolted the VESA and swivel part onto a standard Ultimax clamp. It works for me.

.... assuming you are talking about mounting the screen to the overhead.

yes, want the screens overhead attached to the high horizontal bar of the goalpost stand

Thats given me an idea, if i remove the bolt that joins the swivel part and the pole clamp, i could put a longer bolt through and just bolt it to the goalpost. Something for me to try today

just a cheap vesa mount with a couple of ultimax brackets bolted on will do the trick, thats all i used to do.

CPC do them
http://cpc.farnell.com/pro-signal/psg02632/lcd-bracket-pole-mount-vesa-75/dp/ST01595?Ntt=st01595

Remember that the screen weight will then be on the front of your stand and not below like a light is.

Thanks, but thats for a round metal pole. im after something that will bolt or clamp onto a square pole.

Im looking into the ultimax bracket idea just now

I also used to use a G clamp on my over head bar (not trussing i know) which used to hold the screen/s very well and was very sturdy (safety wire inplace just incase ;) )

Have a look here.

the 25mm VESA brackets might suit your needs. I am glad you asked about these because I have been looking to get a bigger screen and these will be ideal.

i saw them too, might be a little long as the tv's are only 22". The bars might hang below the bottom of the TV. I'll check though as they'd do the job

Andy from Ultimax will mod them for you if you ask him nicely. :D

Honestly all you really need is a cheap wall mounting plate from CPC and then bolt 2 Ultimax 25mm square clamps to it...one each end and use a safety wire too just in case. Andy from Ultimax has seen this and he said it was fine and that was for a 42 inch screen...very simple and safe and doesn't break the bank either.

just as an update to this, i came across this (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280619195884?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) on ebay

it comes in two sections, the vesa part that attaches to the tv has a handy bolt sized hole in it, which allows me to bolt the bracket to the trussing.

works perfectly and cost less than £7 :)
