Poor, sad, delusional people with nothing better to do on a Saturday night - did I ever mention I auditioned in 2006 and was rejected - not bitter at all lol

Hmmm, shrewd move I reckon, very limited time remaining on the show, no chance of a genuine recording career (maybe one single if he's lucky), so leave in a blaze of controversy and have a story of sorts to sell to the highest bidder.

If you take Jedward (no please, really take them !) they've done pretty well from it, adverts, Eurovision, panto etc. So not all bad ! (did I say that out loud ?)

I watch it when I get in from work, a nice thing to watch while unwinding.
Apart from anything else, doesn't anyone else treat it like homework? If the last few years are anything to go by, we'll soon be playing stuff by the final 3

So do we. But we use it for far superior purposes - like taping TV Burp!!! :D

Have to agree with Steve on this one.
I certainly watch it.There is always going to be some awful crap on the show(Frankie being just about the worst) but its great to see some of the talent that is out there and its great that some of these acts get to perform in front of such huge audiences. It must be one hell of a buzz.

I can't stand the show, but it is great entertainment and it produces some good pop acts.
I hate the way they try and acheive Xmas number one, the way they use and abuse the acts afterwards and the whole falseness of it.
"You owned that stage"
"You made the song yours"
And I really hate the real life stories that come into it....yuck!
And also the fact that there seem to be some very poor karaoke singers on it this year.
It's supposed to be called the X Factor for a reason and a lot of them just don't have it IMO.

:agree: although at the end of the day the real winners are the record companies, itv and BT !

There is a lot to dislike about the show but there has certainly been some good talent come out of it.
The American version in my opinion is better. Both the quality of the acts and general presentation seem to be better and it doesnt have that bloody awful shouting voice over introducing everything.I bloody hate that mans voice
