Lead Source:

don't bother - I noticed the email address supplied (the muppet) and it's Core Entertainments (Simon Crane) on a price hunt by the looks of it

Then he should be using the special referral link. Then we know the score and if the job goes on to be fulfilled by another member, he gets a little reward ;)

The you don't pose as a perspective customer then Neil, which is exactly what he was doing.

The thing is Simon does run an agency and he has put his own company email address as the reply email (which you would have to be pretty dumb to do if you were "fishing for prices).

I'm not saying that is the case, but I wouldn't instantly think he is trying to get prices from local DJ's so he can undercut etc...
