I have been asked for our Safe Systems of Work Certification :confused:
I have no idea what this is :confused:
Can anyone help please?

It's probably another way of asking for either or all of the following:
Risk assessment
Method statement
H&S policy
I would just be honest and ask them exactly what they want and tell them you haven't heard it called that before. I haven't either! ;)

Well I took our risk assessment forms, H & S Method statement, PAT & PLI.
The woman said thanks a lot but we only really want the PAT & PLI :daft: For goodness sake!!!

Safe Systems of Work (SSWs) is what the HSE refers to as your collection of H & S certificates and documents (to put it simply!!).

Whilst I am a great believer In Insurance--I spent my working life in the business-I dont really see what its got to do with improving safety or system of safe working.
Thats PAT, RA and similar which make things safe--other than not leaving your Public Liability Policy lying on the floor as a trip hazard --its not relevant:D :D
