Its amazing what you can do. I used a remote access program called Teamviewer to connect to shauns pc.

The firmware update was a pain to begin with. It kept failing. But in the end it was successful

Then there was the sound configuration bit was only getting sound through deck a so changd a few settings.

All sorted. Enjoy

Yes I was made aware of Teamviewer a couple of years ago.
When I decided to go digital a friend of mine who was in Portugal accessed my computer from Portugal and sorted a problem for me.At the time I was well impressed.
I have since had a problem with BT and they sorted the problem in a similar manner so its probably not such a big deal.

thing with Teamviewer its free as you will know.There are a lot of other services out there like that Citrix Go To My PC and others but they cost to use. For a free one its good.
