Nice price mate, thanks for the link. Sadly, I failed to meet the criteria for buying one. :(

It's an Executive chair. :o :o

We bought that chair and after about a week, the adjuster thing went, so as soon as you sit on it, it just lowers itself.

Viking periodically do some good deals on chairs.

We bought this one (http://www.viking-direct.co.uk/catalog/catalogSku.do?id=Q2N-3262300&cm_cat=2000000351) a couple of years ago and only paid £25 (inc VAT) for it, and it's been perfect.

I've worn out more cheap desk chairs than I care to remember ... but then at circa 17 stone and using it 12-15 hours a day it's not surprising.

Am now about 18 months into owning this baby (http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20103101/) and it's still working beautifully and is very comfy indeed. Taken an allen key to it just once in that time. Not the cheapest I know, but a helluvalot cheaper than many of the equivalent quality pro chairs IMHO.

Actually, I bought one and bought another as a backup chair :bag:, but then the other chair I had died, so they are both in the office now. :D

Not really - it was cheap enough to buy and use when the other one got knackered. ;)

after years of owning cheap crap chairs, i managed to find one of these badboys on ebay...

http://www.shape-seating.co.uk/specialist-ergonomic-chairs/bma-axia/axia-plus/axia-plus-high-inc-headrest/

a grand's worth of chair. perfect condition, collection only, 30 miles away. cost me a ton, and i could never go back to a cheap computer chair ever again. granted, i could never spend a grand on one, but i would spend AT LEAST £150 on my next chair - not that i will probably need one, the axia plus is easily repairable should any part due on me i should be able to get spares for it!

Last time I saw a chair like that was at the dentists.
