active subs

Looking at getting an active sub or subs to go with my new ev elx112p active tops.
Either 1 ev elx 118p or 2 alto active 15".
my question would 2 alto's be as good as 1 ev

In my honest opinion id go for the Single EV 18 Inch. One of them would be better than the altos

Will let you know when I have road tested my 118p's next week. If you like I can sound check on 1 and 2 configurations and give a view.

As bass is omnidirectional and you are pairing with some 12's 1x118p should be suffice.
