Very good Charlie. The only criticism I would have is the backing track. Depending on how long you want to run the vid for, it may date fairly quickly.
Apart from that, well done.

Thanks Mike.

What would you suggest? Probably an old time classic would work better? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

That's a difficult one! It possibly depends on how long you are thinking about running the vid. If you are looking to change it in a couple on months, the track you have is possibly ok. If running for longer than that, you may want to look at something else. Possibly even a lesser known instrumental track. Just my opinion. :)

I actually really like it, the problem with the music is that the video will be pulled by YouTube as you don't have the license to play it. I know this from experience having used Take That - Greatest Day for my videos and them all being pulled and me being threatened with court action!

Take that and Rhianna - all you need now is some Oasis :D

Like it. Bit samy for the length.

I am not sure that track will date tbh? Maybe worth mixing it into something older as that is definitely not everyones cup of tea.

Dancing on the cieling, uptowngirl, Ronettes that kind of thing.

Not feeling it I'm afraid fella

Audio's already been disabled on it by the YouTube Police
Shakey/poor quality camera work put me off straight away.
For a promo video, where are the details of the services you offer? - Captions may be a good idea?
How do people know how to get in touch with you - No contact information?

I'd go back to the drawing board dude

i agree tbh. I would keep it under a minute and combine the best footage from the 3 mins. ;)

Thanks buddy, I appreciate the feedback.

The audio hasn't been disabled my end? Anyone else?

I don't really have decent footage so it's hard to polish a turd. I think I'll have to stick to what I've got for the time being, until I have better footage.

I thought I didn't have any good footage until I started playing around. Keep it short and informative. I had fun doing mine. Each clip is trimmed to the max to maintain flow

Yeah, the buggers have removed the audio.

What didn't they like? Rihanna or Garry?

Proberley both, you can get away with mashups/mixtracks BUT obviously these might not sound so good so have you thought about maybe just backing music with out vocals etc ?

As i know some people use this on the reptile videos and its fine

Probably both but one will have triggered their audio matching first and muted the whole thing. It's an automated system on Youtube.

You can buy the appropriate license (http://www.prsformusic.com/users/broadcastandonline/onlinemobile/MusicServices/LOML/Pages/LOML.aspx) but then that doesn't make any difference to Youtube as the video is still hosted with them, and your license only covers content you host yourself.

The solution is to buy the license and host the video yourself. The "Using videos to promote services" thread (http://www.forum.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/showthread.php?t=34230) is full of useful information, particulary the posts by myself :D
