When something like this happens it brings it home that there are far more important things in life than the DJing business.

Like Steve said, CJ, I'm sure you and your family are in the thoughts of the entire forum at this sad time. And I'd like to offer my condolences, too.

I'm also sure your event in aid of the hospice will be a huge success as it looks to me that you've got the attitude it takes to pull this off. You've also got the help, support and ideas of the forum so you're guaranteed to succeed! ;)

Just to reflect what everyone else has said so sorry for your loss. :sorry:

I find myself in a similar situation. My Dad has had prostate cancer for the last 2 years and it has metastasised to his bones, he is like a skeleton on legs and death isn't too far away only weeks possibly months. You convince yourself you have come to terms with it .............BUT I don't think you really do, as selfish as this may sound........I pray it does not happen over xmas as I have 2 young daughters aged 12 and 9 who idolize their Grandad and don't really understand how ill he is and thinks he will get better. It would totally destroy them if it happened over xmas !!!
