Hi
I am hoping that someone may be able to help me.
I have purchased one of these fab gobo projectors, but I am having trouble using the filters to change the colors.
They are supplied as cellophane discs, but there doesn't appear to be a place for them to go. I have been trying to slot them on the front of the lense, but they often just fall off.
Does anyone else have one of these and have you cracked where they should be placed?
Any advice gratefully received
Cheers
Nathan

No probs, it only took me a few minutes to google it.
Looks straighforward enough.

I think I'm going crazy - could have sworn there was a video-jug style instruction vid in post #3 earlier on!!! :daft:
It's like that well-known fizzy drink advert where they've got their boss thinking he's been working too hard!! :D

I tried google, but for some reason the link to the PDF was dead when I was looking yesterday.
Anyway sorted now thanks guys

It was on the ADJ Europe site.

There was, but it only showed gobo replacement, not what was asked.

Just found this so thought I would post on here as it would seem that it isn't quite as straight forward as ADJ's manual, of which there appears to be about 3 versions!
Hope this is able to help someone.

I didn't have the sound on when I watched that video, but it seems to be exactly the same as the manual that Steve posted - except that in the video, they are forcing the retaining ring out by pushing from the back, rather that using something to lever the ring out from the front (which I would have thought would be the better option / less chance of damage)
To add a color gel;
1. Unscrew and remove the lens housing.
2. Using a flat head screwdriver, gently and carefully remove the
retainer ring holding the lens into place.
3. Remove the lens and insert your desired gel. The gel should sit pefectly on the small ledge inside the housing.
4. With the gel sitting perfectly, reinsert the lens. After the lens is inserted, reinsert the retainer ring so that it sits snuggly against the
lens. There should be no play between the lens and retainer ring.
....or have I missed something by not having the sound on?

It is more about the fact that the ring is glued in and you have to remove the glue, almost as though it isn't meant to come out.
Thought it may be useful! - :zip:

Exactly, that is what foxed me initially as it is pretty well stuck in there.

If that reply was to my post then it makes sense!!
Similar to Ang, I watched the first vid with the sound off (couldn't find my earphones and mam and dad were asleep in the next room!). That'll teach me to watch, and listen to, the vids properly!! :o

Does anyone create their own gobos for this unit?
If so I would be interested in knowing how you create yours.
