Ive Just picked up my 2nd pair of Imove 5s today so now i have 4.

and on saturday ive got a 21st birthday on a 5foot high stage..

so i have 3 lighting idea and would like some input..

1) 4 movers place on the stage with 2 efx500 on each upright of my booth

2) 4 movers on 3m of truslite with an efx500 as a center light

3) 4 movers place on the floor with 3m trusslite with 2 efx500 and 2 ledj cans?

I'd go for Option 1 in your list. If you have a stage and it's a decent size, make the most of it. I think it will look good with them up there.

m voting 4 movers spread right across the stage and the efx on sticks

4 in a row is only 1 dimension. 2 on the stage and 2 higher up spreads them over 2 dimensions and depending on your control will spread the beams around much more ad give you the ability to cross the beams over on tilt movements as well as pans.

We try to spread the lighting across all 3 dimensions if possible to give more 'depth' to the look. Maybe 2 heads near the front of the stage (fairly wide apart), 2 further back higher up and the 2 EFXs over your head?

This all depends on what you've got to mount things on of course!

Option 2 seems best for me.
