Just as you lot are packing up for Christmas, today for me is lots of running around sorting out PA gear, marquees, gazebo, blow-up stages, generators, power supplies, snow and bubble machines, 1000+ traffic cones, 200+ parking suspension notices, 100+ street signs, 100+ road closure and diversion signs... and a million other things no doubt for tomorrow's Fun Day! Not quite there yet for me. I'm in all day today, then floor to lay first thing tomorrow and collect midnight Christmas eve/day. Then two days off and back in again on 27th for jobs on 28th, 29th, 30th and one collection 31st morning, then off again till 3rd Jan!

Im finished now untill the 3rd January. Apart from a huge floor in London on the 29th that I doing with Paul.

Spend all day yesterday collecting in kit, cleaning drapes, and sorting out the jobs that staff are taking out next week.

Time for some well earned days off, chilling out with many beers is my plan!!

Relaxation my arse! I did my last party night on the 22nd, but decided the week before Xmas was the ideal time to fit a new bathroom. Some newly discovered rotten floorboards put a spanner in the works. However, all was back on track until this time yesterday, when I found that the suppliers have sent the wrong basin for the vanity unit, or vice versa...so scuppered until the middle of next week, at a guess.

Disco wise, I'm out on 30th and 31st, then not again until 21st/22nd Jan...but off to study with a GP in Wellingborough for 7 weeks come Jan 2nd.

Feet are up until Boxing day Wedding.

But the major plus point is that Emmas' Mum has now gone to visit friends in Lancaster so now Christmas has started as we've got some piece and quiet.

I will no doubt be frequenting the local tonight until the early hours of Christmas morning.

Bit of work next week that floor with Ben on 29th then Weddings 30th & 31st.

January will be my proper chill time though.
