View Full Version : Wanted: Small 6 channel mixer

Bit of a long shot but I am currently looking at getting a small 6 channel mixer for a drum monitoring system I am setting up. Idealy, it needs to have 4 xlr inputs and 2 sets of stereo 1/4 jack input, I'm sure most of you lot know what I am talking about.

Mixer needs to be quite small as I am limited to case internal size which is about 220 deep and around 150mm high.

Price wise not looking at spending too much because if this idea don;t work then I don't want to be too much out of pocket but any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I've had a couple of these and they've been good solid little units for the money. If you hunt around on eBay I'm sure you'll get one for < £60.00.

Nice!!!

Just had a measure up and the total length to play with is actually 220mm, same as the mixer so this will fit in nice and snug with no movement.

This will be be bought. lol.

For a Soundcraft and not some cheapo no -name that is indeed a steal!

Those small Soundcraft mixers from CPC are really good. I bought the one with the effects when it was on offer, I think it was ~£70.

Hey Dave, is that a Matamp valve amplifier I see in your avatar? I have very fond memories of working with them back in the seventies ;)

Hiya JEM yes its one of the Matamp SL120 Valveslaves that came out of the
Amsterdam Bar at Huddersfield!...In veiw of its "pedigree" last time Jeff at MatamP serviced it he recovered it in PINK PVC!!!!!
Having owned it 10 or so years its kind of grown on me!
it was sold in 01/09/1977
according to Matamps meticulous records! and its still pumping out the music.
