I wonder would some of you guys be so kind to have a look at the manual (link provided) for the KAM RGB192 LED PANEL and tell me if it is possible to TURN OFF the strobe function on these units enabling them to be used in a master / slave combination on sound to light WITHOUT any dedicated DMX controller.

These would need to be used on a local project and I have absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE of DMX. I do not claim to be an expert in this area, my current show was purchased pre configured so suits my needs :)

As I stated strobing is NOT an option, your help is greatly appreciated :) :)

Thanks as always

Thanks for correcting that, I couldn't have properly highlighted it :)

Looks to me like all dips off on master and 1 - 9 off and 10 on on slaves

Short answer is no. Without some dedicated programming of your own there's unfortunately no way to isolate or remove the pre-set strobe scenes.

Dip 6 - 8
Adding dipswitches 6 – 8 will strobe the unit adding dip 6 is slowest strobe dipswitch 8 fastest

So if Dip 6 - 8 were off surely there would be no strobing ???
If Dip 9 was also off
Dip 9 = Auto mode unit runs through auto programs

Thanks for all our input so far :)

Hopefully I'll be proved wrong, but I still don't think what you want to achieve is possible in sound to light mode. Let me know how you get on.

That was my interpretation also. Sadly, I've no idea if it's right. :daft:

Correct.

My iMove 5s would be great stand alone lights if it wasn't for the random strobing scenes they do.
Pretty much all fixtures have at least some strobing scenes included when in sound to light mode
