Came across this online. Thought it might be good for those of you that do wedding slideshows and other video duties at gigs.
I have seen photos of Vectis using something similar (R4 or something like that ?)

I used it for our panto run in December for the green screen visuals.
It is essentially a clip bank player that is able to accept a wide range of formats (video, audio, jpegs, flash, live video and even dvd links)
It will also run powerpoint files as long as Microsoft office is installed on the same machine.
The banks can be set up on different fade times and there are a few video effects in there as well.
The effects generator is good for times you need access to basic but useful visuals and there is a plugin to bring winamps visualizations into Screen Monkey to select just like any other clip.
There is a free version and the paid for version adds extra features like VJ clip rotation and Artnet compatibility.
Over all I found it to be very stable and they have designed it to work on lower spec machines. 2 instances of the program can be used on the same computer.
Take a look and give it a try. If you look through the news section on the website, you will see it being used on quite big shows.
