right here it goes........
for weeks now me and the mrs have been racking out brains trying to find the name of a film,
in the film a sniper shot is taken killing someone, they then spend the rest of the film trying to analyse the shot and work out how it was taken,
there is some 3d cad images showing the trajectory of the shot theirs like a sky scraper in the way, or something like that it turns out that the shot was taken from behind the building and small charges were used to blow opposite windows out so the round could pass through the building, near the end a sniper rifle is found with like motorised aiming controls etc on it?
any ideas people,
its not vantage point, shooter, or sniper 1,2 or 3, or wanted from the trailers we've watched
any ideas people

I've seen the film you're on about can't think for the life of me what it is
The only thing I'm coming up with is SWAT or the Negotiator

Is it JFK or something along those lines? Sounds awfully familiar to me, too!
Actually, just re-read the OP so I'm guessing I'm miles away!!

Annoying, I've seen the film too lol
There as an episode of "Bones" which had a very similar storyline resulting in one of the assistants being killed by a sniper with some very high tech equipment and a radio controlled bullet.
You're not a Bones fan are you?
Love it myself

dont think i've ever seen it unless i caught that one episode? it would only have been on terrestrial tv though we've never had sky?
Oh I think it is only on Sky.
Still racking my brains 'cause I am sure I recognise the storyline
