Hi all,
I'm sure we have all done them and maybe some are still doing them? The thing I am talking about is late Christmas Parties.
I have 2 this Saturday and then the final one next Saturday. All of them are for Supermarkets.
How do you deal with late Christmas Parties like this that are around a month after Christmas itself?
Generally I get into a bit of a routine when they happen when they are supposed to and that's a Christmas background playlist whilst they are eating their meals and then straight into it after the desserts.
Past experience has told me that dealing with them as you would normally doesn't really work the same because people can't get into the mood so the playlist is dropped and I compile a playlist of classics, slowies, atmospheric stuff etc.
Of course, not everyone is the same and if they want Christmas music etc then they get it but going on the past, it doesn't seem to be like that.
Latest Christmas Party I have ever done was Mid-February.
