Hey everyone!

I know this isnt strictly Disco but im looking for some feedback.

At the back end of last year i decided to launch properly into hire & small events.

After the bad feedback on the last site i have had a bash with wordpress.

Looks fantastic.

What do you use to make your sites?

No address and only a mobile number on the site.

The menu needs centering, looks awful with the large gap on the right. Can't see a price list anywhere on the site.

Out of interest what are you going to have in the "FX Hire" section??

Thanks for the comments so far. The FX page is for smoke, bubbles, dry ice, UV bubbles, popcorn cannon, foam machine and co2 lance.

Charlie the template is a free one from WordPress.

address and everything will be added. Site was only done last night.

I got a 404 error when I clicked the youtube button at the top.

On your contact page you say you cover the whole of the UK. But offer your main areas? Not sure how this benefits you?

Nice looking and images are good.

Some of the image names could be changed to more friendly at the very bottom. I hovered over the two bottom left and got img-34562 where as others have UV Themed Event etc

Thanks

Tom

Visibly a good site but terrible when it comes to usability. The worst part is when it comes to getting out of the "lightbox" images...seems a bit hit and miss and sometimes the only way to get out is to refresh the page. There seems to be two lightbox scripts in use and sometimes one overlays the other. Very bad (imho).

Why is there a dot near Edinburgh on your map?

The input fields in the contact form at the right are too long and get cut off at the right hand edge.

The gallery page thumbnails look bad in IE8 (see attached).

Also overall I found it quite slow to load.

Hi Mark, thanks for the feedback, I have changed the width of the column now so that should have fixed the quote form.

Im not sure what i can do about the gallery?

I have changed the width of the column now so that should have fixed the quote form.

It's now fine on Firefox, Chrome and Safari, but still broken on IE8.

Im not sure what i can do about the gallery? If you haven't touched it the first port of call would be the developer of the template: http://digitalnature.eu/support/

Depending on the terms of the download and since you've removed the credits in the footer they may be unwilliling to help...
