Evenin' all,

Just wondering what format you Outlook users send your mail in (or other Mail clients for that matter)

For some reason Outlook defaulted to HTML and because of that I can't ensure consistency in the emails I'm sending out - Bugger.

So I've switched to Plain text - while they look fairly well laid out in Outlook and Mail (mac) they look atrocious for web-based email, i.e Hotmail, normally displaying in Courier or some other horrid, ugly font.

So that leaves Rich Text, but again - I can't guarantee consistency on what the client sees at the other end.

What format do you use?

Mine go out in the default HTML, I always cc to myself on a different email (aol) and comes out alright for me

I had to start doing the same.
I've just sent the same email to all my 'standard' email accounts: Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo.

Hotmail and Gmail looked fine, Yahoo took off the font formatting (Arial for comparability) I just don't like serif fonts for email communication

Use HTML, if the recpient has HTML email it'll look good, otherwise it'll default to plain text. If you start with plain text, then no-one will have the chance of seeing it looking nice!
