Between 4.30pm - 5.50pm I had two taxi's, Domino's, Chinese and Indian takeaway delivered to the house.

I thought it was my mates mucking about so I joined them for a couple ;) of beers this evening. I've just got back home to a high rate Dad - apparently he's had SEVEN other takeaways knock on the door.

I'm not fussed about Domino's or Pizza Hut but the small business must be seriously affected by idiots like this?

The amount of food that has been wasted this evening could feed the whole forum at BPM!

One order was for £66+

Dad decided to phone the police who were quite helpful (apparently)

Next time, they'll learn not to phone Pizza Hut because their mobile number is displayed and saved on PH's system. I'm surprised that other companies don't have a similar facility in place.

Anyway, the :muppet: 's were taken home and I'm yet to find anymore Chicken Kormas at the door step.

On a serious note tho i once had this when me and jo had 2 houses but it was a genuine mistake as the people who we had the last house off used to basically live on takeaways so when they ordered the takeaway just took it as they were still in our house (we did end up with a few free things due to driver not going back or it would go cold and be wasted so woohoo for us) lol

Unfortunatly tho mate it does happen we once had 35 pizzas and 20 kebabs delivered to were i worked the doors due to a drunk punter, good thing was he did admit it tho and pay the company the next day im sure it was around £98 or similar to that

I have had this happen once where an indian takeaway turned up (I dont even eat Indian takeaways) and apparentely you are still legally obliged to pay the bill even though you didnt make the order :eek:

Just to clarify, for the highly-gullible on here, that you cannot be held legally liable to pay for anything that you didn't order. The business would have to take you to court and prove, beyond reasonable doubt, that you placed the order. If you didn't, then that's not going to happen!

1: why are you getting food delivered to your door? I assume you have annoyed someone (miss-sold them a house or something :D )
2: why do you live in five houses? your dad, mum, girlfriend and who else's? Unless both parents have two houses each?
