Anyone interested in going had a few people say they would be up for it.
I know a few people go to Spain for a dj get away but why not do Las Vegas instead.
The thing that's a plus factor with mobile beat is that the Expo and all the seminars are in the hotel you stay in as well as the party's.
The show is more seminar / networking based where as Bpm is more equipment based.
I am sure the people who said they would be interested will show there interest on this thread.
thank you.

Of all the places in America I'd love to visit. Las Vegas certainley isn't one of them

I need to do Vegas at some point in my life, however I just can't justify the cost at the moment.

To be honest...I'd rather just have a good night out in Geordie-Land.

Vegas is great! Well worth spending a few days just to see the hotels and a trip over the canyon is a must too.

Yeah I fancy this for sure.

It's not that expensive really.

Flights are around £500 if you look, hotel is $300, MBLV ticket is , dunno £150? £99 if you get it early, I guess it's £1,500 all in with spends.

I'm currently sitting in the airport waiting to fly home from Mobile Beat. Cost wise if you book at the right time, it's not expensive at all. I paid less than £600 for flights & the hotel (8 nights).
I'd highly recommend it, even in just networking outside the show there, is worth the money I spent.
This year, there was over 40 British guys from our industry there!

At prices like that it cannot be ignored. So far the cheapest I have found is £900 per person  But as a family we normally spend £3.5k on a holiday anyway so the way we are looking is have the summer holiday (Vegas) in february and go to Majorca or somewhere cheap in the summer.

We just booked through a normal travel agent - Thompson, just have a play with the dates, as it was cheaper for us to be there for 8 days than it was just for the 4 for the conference. Although, if you book through the Mobile Beat page, you'll have your resort fee waived, which was $11 a day, plus you'll save money on your show ticket, but we didn't need show tickets, so went through Thompson.

There are sooo much nicer hotels to stay in than the Riveria, BUT the networking before & after the seminars, makes sense to stay there. The rooms are nice, just the bar/casino floor is VERY dated compared to the likes of the Wynn, Encore, Luxor, MGM etc..........

EDIT:

We booked only 6 months in advance, seems thats when the prices tend to drop. You'll pay full price at this time of year.

I'd be well up for going, only it's too busy in the office with enquiries at this time of year that it'll have to wait until I have someone who's able to look after things whilst I'm away.
