Interference.

Hi there,

hope your all ok, :p

Ok I have an Alesis imultimix 8 (the one with the iPod dock), I've only just realised that it has a built in sound card :daft:. The trouble is when I plug the sound desk mixer into my computer I have interference with my speaker, what should I do to get rid of it or to buy something to get rid if it? ;)

One other thing is there anything else which is good for interference if I have any other problems?

OK,so could we please be told what are the connectors at each end, and/or what we are connecting to what?

If pushed, I'd lay odds that there's a 3.5mm jack or two in there. ;)

Mixer is two jack inputs and then goes to the app with xlr. ;)

I'm sure I've misunderstood this, but assuming we're dealing with two 1/4" jacks, then two of these

convert the jack plugs into phono sockets, and connect to the plugs on the Isolator.
Then,one of these

converts the plugs from the other side into sockets, a phono cable from there into a pair of these,

and bingo.

Use CDs or a dedicated Hard Drive player, you won't get any.
