Dumb question

I know it may sound like a dumb question, but what is the calendar for, and how do you use it, and what does it show, apart from the date. As I said dumb!

Thanks, and there was I thinking it was something like a gig availability, or gig calendar or something like that. Its better celebrate "un-birthday", they come more often :lightbulb

are you after a calendar to show when your busy etc..
